This is so true. There are friends that has gotten close with me even though we haven't met for quite a while. And there are also friends that I thought would stay with me regardless.....yet still drifted apart. To be honest I'm quite disappointed to lose such a good bunch of friends. I doubt I can ever get back to how close we used to be. Staying over... Cycling all the way from pasir ris to sentosa etc etc all the crazy fun we had. I guess some things are just the way it is. I guess the good thing about these friendships are the good memories they left me. People might not be the same but the past is impossible to change. I will always have that. Memories. And I'm glad I got to know them. :)
This taught me not to ever ever ever ever EVER neglect a group of friends and take for granted that they will always be there.
Oh well.
Had an impromptu pool session today with Alvin, Douglas, Nick and Bennetton. Not so happy with my performance but ahhh it's just losing right? Haha~
Going to Marina Barrage tmr for a short last-minute-plan picnic with sec sch friends! Alr got the lexus biscuits to celebrate mwahaha been wanting to try that. At least I haven't lost contacts with all of my sec school friends! Hurray :)
By the way I got to gym soon man seriously I've been wanting to start since the start of hols omg

@ 4:30 AM DJJJJ KHALEDDDDD
Hi so yeah I'm back online at 4:07am cos I slept tooooo early. 8:30pm haha was so tired I just coma-ed on my bed. Andddd yeah late night thoughts..... This is a post where I pour my heart out so if you don't like such stuff then warning! Go away!!
Anyway to get to the point here I have recently lost two pool matches and this is double-elimination (which means one has to lose two matches before they are disqualified). It was kinda a big.. disappointment?shock? Or whatever. Point is, I have thought about what really happened back there.
Truth is I'm known for walking out of the room when I lose any one random game with people in the pool club I'm in. And I'm not proud of that- it just shows how little control I have over my anger management. The reason why I walk out (I have thought about this for super long) is that I'm frustrated with myself, I know I could have done better but yet I didn't. And as a result of not doing my best, I lost. When I know I could have won if I didn't make this mistake or that. Yeah blah blah blah I'm sure everyone has felt like they were disappointed with themselves for not being able to do their best. Well that's me right there and disappointment builds up to frustration and then snowballs into anger and yeah you know the rest.
Another thing I realized was that I was too cocky. Sigh, yes. I hate to admit this but I thought too highly of myself. I was out of practice for not playing and I still thought, hey, I could easily win even if I didn't put in enough training beforehand. Such obnoxious behaviour debbie.... But it's fine. I know what I know now. I am wrong for being so condescending. I always thought I was better but no haha not with my attitude.
What I learnt from this is that one is never good enough. Needless to say, even professionals train everyday and I think that my standard is enough. The good side to this is that I'm easily contented (LOL). The bad side is that I don't strive for improvement.
Not anymore. I won't think that I am good enough any longer. I have trained for 3 hours today and I'm kinda ashamed to admit that today has been the first time I have trained for more than 1 hour, or even train at all. Regardless, I'm still happy with myself. I made a small step and I hope that I will continue to have this determination!
One last note to myself... Watch your attitude man deb do NOT flare up at people who ask for the results.
Alright, got to turn in to go for this pool clinic at 8:45am. Hope this clinic is worth it and not a total waste of time like what Alvin said!

Hi here's another long ass post!
On wed the lovelies met up for lunch at Saveur! Geng yun backed out last minute cos she wanted to play with her nephews booooo haha! Qishan was late so Jes Am and I went to Saveur first. The environment was nice but as it was in such an enclosed space... It was very noisy. Nobody was talking loudly though, it's just that everyone was talking at the same time so there's this loud drone...
Anyway Am and I had the pasta for starters! It was ooooook lor nothing special for me! Jes said that her boyfriend thinks it tastes like those dry maggi. HAHAHA.
Then Qishan came and we started ordering our mains!
We all ordered duck. HAHA so weird!! Normally people don't really order the same food right??
I think we were quite quiet during our meal cos it was soooo noisy! Apparently it's worse at night cos there's more people and you must shout to be heard!
But the duck is gooood! The mashed potatoes were abit too milky for my taste but it tastes alright! The duck is crispy and the mushrooms are awesome! There are like even oranges at the side to "cleanse" your tongue in case you get sick of the same flavour throughout the dish. It's really refreshing when you eat the orange halfway throughout the meal.

After Saveur, we went to 記得吃 at somewhere near Porn's near Bugis Junction for shaved ice and Geng yun joined us then! We ordered Mango and Strawberry shaved ice and the white balls (it's like glutinous rice ball without the filling) is super nice!!! The lychee balls were weird though I feel like I'm eating juicy white cockroach eggs and the feeling is weird I will never eat lychee balls again........anyway the mango was good but the strawberry part is too artificial for my liking. The mango bits that came with the shaved ice was sweet! Not like the typical sour mango that normally appears in like dessert stores. Plus point! :)
We then shopped around Bugis street. All of us got something that day, and I realllyyyyyy regret not buying the Haribo sweets Geng yun bought that has this gel inside them when you bite... :'(

Ok and today (is it still today? it's already past 12am... ok let's take it as 14th march) Geng yun dropped by Nex to pass me her items for flea to sell! This girl tell me she'd pass by at 12.15pm so I planned to wake up at 1130am to prepare. BUT. SHE CALLED ME AT 11.15. Waaaaay ahead of schedule. 该来早就迟到，该晚来就早到. HAHA. Anyway I dragged my ass down to meet her and then got the stuff! Due to me just waking up and her forgetfulness, I still left some of my stuff with her. So when Am came at 12.30pm, we had to go all the way to the 4th floor to get my items again from Geng yun and Brian!
After a short chat with Geng yun, Am and I then left for Paris Baguette Cafe at Wisma. Been wanting to try that for some time and it was really lucky that Am remembered that place!
We got salads only! Will try the other stuff there next time ^^ Anyone? Hehe

Maybe it doesn't look like much. BUT IT'S AWESOME. I used to dislike salad cos I had this thinking: It's just raw vegetables with fattening dressings. But I was wrong and I'm glad Sumo Salad changed my thinking! This is one awesome salad, the dressing is sooooooooooo tasty and the cheese are sliced so thin and dusted with pepper. The chicken tastes fresh and apart from the tomatoes (which I gave Am haha), I can say that I don't regret spending my $8.50.
Am had a thai one (??) which was good as well! There were noodles inside and the dressing is awesome as well!
I think we saw some sort of not-so-well-known celeb but we're not so sure. I think I saw her somewhere before but I don't know where! Stayed till like 1.40 and since I mentioned Wild Honey, we went there to chill as we still had some time.
Seriously from pics on Instagram I can't wait to try their sets! But as I felt full from the salad I had just now (IKR? I didn't think that salads could be so filling haha), I just settled for the hot chocolate. Costs $5.90 with service charge and the rest. Well personally I don't think I'd spend my money on that again cos it's reallllly thick. Which means that after a few mouths of it you'd be like sick of it. Plus point is it's slightly bitter and there's this really cute marshmallow!! Am said it looks like a magic sponge (whuuttt) but it's so cuteeee I have a weakness for whatever chocolate drink with marshmallows :D
Am had Earl Grey! They don't show the tea menu though but the teas are available near the counter so you can choose from there!
 
Time passes so fast! We were like talking all the way and everything was so comfortable- the environment, the seats, the drinks, the company. The service there was really good too, one of the servers like randomly came up to Am and poured her a cup of tea.

Oh then Klarice came to find us for a veryyyy short while then she went to take cab to her friend's house before going to a party at MBS. Sighhh I also want someone please make party at MBS.
Anyway I was late for dinner with Alvin due to us being trapped by the rain! Hehe but all's good and I went to sleep after eating seriously sooo bad for digestion and I really think I'm a pig now! Eat and sleep and eat and sleep. Sigh haven't even went to the gym! So many things to do for this holiday, must really stop. sleeping. Year 3 is coming soon!! Must have lots of fun before I'd be swamped with work again! Did I mention I went to eat shaved ice at Dessert story and had some of Alvin's chicken AND ate a subway wrap before heading home? SIGH SO SINFUL I CAN'T EVEN....
Anyway I'm on skype with Alvin now and for a moment when I was playing songs, we both like danced on skype and we were both so high it was so funny he doesn't usually do such stuff :D Good job!! Hehe.
