Hi so here I am...... I think my body clock's like screwed cos I slept at maybe 9+? And I woke up at 1am feeling refreshed and energetic. Which is why I'm blogging this post cos I have yet to blog about teo heng with sec sch friends and today's event. Sigh long ass post but here we go!

Ok soooo we (Marshall Brandon Celine and Natasha) planned to meet up to eat at Eastpoint's 18 chef cos it was like their last day of operations due to renovations. Everyone was late, so in the end I met Marshall and went to 18 chef first! Celine is like superb please she knew she was late and still had the audacity to tell us she will be charging her phone before coming out. Bish you ah!

When everybody reached, we started ordering and omggg the amount of cheese in the rice hor.... Super awesome please if you're a cheese lover you must confirm guarantee plus chop go there!! Can't believe I never ate that before. It was nice catching up during lunch(?) and everyone was updated on each others' lives~~ 

Oh there was an incident when we were about to finish our meal to get our free scoop of ice cream (which we didn't really feel like eating in the end). This BIG group of aunties came and was like grumbling about how there were no seats. Umm hello if you want to eat it so badly then why didn't you come earlier? Ok then never mind we didn't really pay attention to them. Not until they came to our table and started staring at us cos I think our plates look empty and they expected us to leave. But hey we still had the ice cream what so of cos we didn't leave! When Marshall got out of his seat to take the ice cream for us, one of them said "Leaving already?" and so Marshall was like "No we still have ice cream." GUESS WHAT.

She tsked us.

WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF. We don't owe you anything! After tsk-ing (lol), she fake whispered to her group of friends. "Still got ice creammmmm" and gave the super bitchy face. 

Ok so after talking about the WTF part the funny part is here. When we got up to leave, she immediately spin her head around and said "Nvm la you kids continue eating your ice cream la! We can wait!" with a super big smile. (We were bringing our ice cream to eat on the go cos we kinda couldn't stand their staring). What a change in attitude man! Hahaha but ok it's good she didn't get our spirits down!

We then cabbed to Teo heng and got in early.

To be honest I expected this outing to be quiet and close to boring cos I wouldn't be able to sing like those crazy high pitch songs without being paiseh. But it was super awesome everybody sung the high pitch without fear!! Esp Brandon, siao one he hahaha I swear his lungs are so big he can hold a steady high pitch for quite some time! We even got up to dance during songs and the atmosphere was damn high! There was a time when the screen thing blacked out (cos of Marshall pulling out the charger or what) and even when the maintenance guy came in, we were still high and acting silly like we were all drunk.

Anyway the little credit she could possibly get out of the MV is that she whipped her hair back and forth before it was cool... But not bad at least we got super a lot of laughs out from the lines she spoke during the MV!

Then after leaving I went to find Bby again and I got on the wrong bus. Sigh seriously I was supposed to take to Location A. But as Location A and Location B has the same bus number, I took it in the WRONG direction. I was on the bus halfway when I realized that I was taking from the wrong side. It's so weird because I am so used to taking that bus to Location B that's why my subconscious told me to take it in THAT direction. I still remember thinking "Ah yes this bus can bring me to Location B". Anyway got to find him and we went to Vivo he bought a sweet called "One Long Thing" from this push cart beside the cinema. Cute sia the name! Then slacked around at the roof place till it was late and I am so unhappy cos I do not have a car and nobody likes to travel on public transport when they are tired!

 

And finally the last event of this post... We girls were signed up for this Human Capital Youth Summit (HCYS) at NTU and I can tell you in the morning I was SO regretting my decision to join cos it starts at freaking 830am and it's at PIONEER mrt and still have to take BUS to go there oh god. And my eyes were red from wearing contacts. I seriously thought I'd go blind by wearing contacts I'm still scared though sigh why are contacts so bitch to my eyes?!?! Lemme wear you la :( I still have to make my way down to queensway to the specs shop sigh so troublesome

 The event started out ok I guess and we were split up into groups randomly for games and then back to our group for this case studies thing. Which I thought that we really did not have enough time to accomplish. I mean... Can't you take like a few minutes out of the speeches to give us more time...?

But I think we girls split up the work fine! We were either analysing/coming up with solutions/researching on our phones cos we didn't bring laptop except for Amanda haha! So efficient but still.. Not enough time.Our slides were so badly done and we had to submit late in the end.

But not bad! I was feeling so tense and nervous for Geng yun, Amanda and Jeslin because there can only be a maximum of 3 people to present and they were presenting! The other JCs did so well it was really surprising. Their pronounciation is superb and I wishhhhh I can speak like that! :( 

So after the presentations have ended we went back to the LT. There are some mix-ups for winning among the group so I shall not say anything here as I might get it wrong. Anyway none of the SP teams won. It was really quite disappointing though, I know the teachers had hopes for us and the teams before us in earlier years managed to win something. I feel like I let our course down or something haha now I'm feeling (sad?guilty?idk) again and ok let's not think about it! At least this event really made me feel that HR is actually not as simple as it sounds like and there are soooo many things that I am not aware of. The goody bags are nice too! They actually have useful food and vouchers inside! :O And the BBQ Tapioca chips from Foodee are soooo good :D

And I swear Randy, Yilin, Vivien, Adrian(?) and Geng yun dammmn assholes!! So while waiting for the results, there was this emcee(?) that asked us for our experiences. Mind you, it's in a LT where everybody in this event was present and listening. Guess what they did? They screamed my name. I remember thinking "Lucky it's not me, I have no idea what I would say if they asked me. Hmmm what did I learn?". Walao I was like shouting shut up to them but of cos one voice cannot compete with like so many voices! I couldn't back out cos she like said "debbieeee?"

That's not the worst part. The worst part was actually going up to talk. It was so awkward and I didn't know what to say cos I seriously don't know what I learnt. So I mumbled something and when they clapped (the usual sabo-ers) I just ran back. Don't think the emcee was very happy LOL. I think the audience just felt that I was a moron hahahha! It's not over yet. When the emcees asked whether there was anyone who had working experiences, they shouted my name again. I swear by this time I want to melt into the chairs cos the emcee was like "yes debbie?" again. I just told her to ignore me and I felt like.... I was at a loss. Seriously this didn't happen to me before! You guys watch out!
