What I had. Potatoes in the pic was awesome. But are there any potatoes that doesn't taste nice anyway?

Swee Choon with Alvin

Went there at 540pm and I thought Swee Choon was like closing or something cos the queue there was quite horrendous. Was so disappointed but I couldn't think of anything to eat and I HAD TO eat custard buns. In the end we stood there till 6pm I think? And to my surprise it just opened hahaha what a noob I am. Anyway really glad I got to eat it cos I'm sure I would have been grumpy if I didn't eat it.

This tofu super cool ok don't think it's just tofu it's NOT it's DELICIOUS TOFU IT MELTS IN YOUR MOUTH I could have eaten them all day

The banana and prawn fritters. I think. Is it fritters? Aiya anyway it sounds weird right? That's what I thought at first. But it's nice la must try man very unique (to me)

Idk why it focused on my finger -.- (my finger too eye catching to the camera liao ok lame) but you can see the banana and the prawn hugging each other awwww

Portuguese egg tarts. Would have been nicer if it's slightly warm but nah it's kinda cold- Room temperature cold. 

The mian Alvin ate. Idk what it's called. He said it's so-so so yup!

And xiao long pauuuu (sigh wanted to call it xiao rong pau due to my latest obsession of pronouncing "l" as "r". I mean don't you think it's cool to talk like that? Haha moving on) hmm no comments lor. It's nice la haha

My star of the day

CUSTARD PAUUUUUU!!!!!!! Omg look at the custard. Just. LOOK AT IT. Nyeahahaha I dabaoed 6 home to eat for breakfast. Though when I steamed it at home it wasn't as "flowy" as compared to the ones in Swee Choon. Kinda sad though. And when I steamed it, one part of the pau will "explode" and the custard will flow out. If you wanna eat I suggest you go there eat better

He didn't really eat much as he is very fussy when it comes to food. Like a naughty small boy. Tsk tsk. Must give him that powdered milk for picky children already

Headed to Toys R Us at Farrer Park there like we always do after pool. This Ariel backpack nice hor?! I think if it's not pink behind then it's better. Pink and blue lika weird. Plus this black has glitter

This is the toy that I liked to play when I was young. Made me feel smart to answer their questions correctly. LOL

Alvin saw the frisbee and since it was like so cheap..... We decided to buy it! Really glad to know that he likes something other than pool hahaha quite surprised too

Went to my house downstairs to play the frisbee we just got. It was fun till I threw it into the condo area beside the open space we were playing. Thank god Alvin could climb the wall and get it back without alerting the security guard.

How a part of the shop looked like

Our food. OMG what is this called I can't remember. Rosti? Frosti? Roti???? Ugh. Anyway we took the sour cream one. It. Is. Nice. Seriously. First time eating that. It's potato. Again. See. Potato is awesome.

Duck pasta. All 3 of us had the same thing. LOL. Anyway I think everything about this is nice. Could be nicer if there was some fetta cheese in it. 

Anyway anyone should definitely go. The service is very good and one of the staff was very friendly! Somemore we bought the meal so we got free tea (have coffee and other drinks) as well. There's quite a selection and they provided the refill even when we didn't ask for it. Good service right? GO!

Frisbee is fun. Finally something to do with him that burns off some calories. But I suck at throwing. He's much better at it!

FYP Meeting with Lovelies

Went to Clementi to eat first (I think? Can't remember. I think we just nua-ed or somthing)

Photo on the cab with Qs and Am as 5 people couldn't get into the cab. Seriously man the government should do something about this.

Free icecream and a cool can-plastic drink (Not released into the market yet so I doubt you guys saw it) was given after the meeting!! I thiknk the can-plastic drink is super worth it as compared to those can drinks. Cos they really fill the drink up to the brink. And it's cool.

Joey left first followed by Qing Yun cos she had school. Sharon and I then went to Astons to eat and we had a loooooong catching up. It was really. really. really. really REALLY enjoyable to talk to her. I missed her cut-the-bullshit, ballsy, realistic, funny, entertaining and stress-free way of talking. I poured out so much things to her and she updated me on her life too. -Content sigh-

We then walked around cos... I don't know? We just wanted to. Then we ended up going to Cafe Cartel for the after 9pm 50% discount on desserts/cakes/etc promo.

We chose the item we want for quite long though! Not bad la this banana split I like the banana! Mixed feelings about the cookies and cream ice cream though cos I forgot how it tasted like

East Ocean Teochew Restaurant (Tong Hai) with Alvin and his family

Can you see the sea of people? Crazy crowd. Wanted to go to Tung Lok but it's too full. There were reservations made a month ago for Tong Luk and we only tried to make reservations a week before. Haha

It's super small. Alvin's mum said it was very bitter so I tried it. Actually it's not thaaaat bitter I think I drank something that was so much more bitter at Hong Kong? Which I ended up giving Amanda to drink hehe

The custard pauuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!! Also as nice as Swee Choon. Maybe a tad nicer. Can fight one. But I think Swee Choon is more economic la. This custard pau is like smaller. BUT THE CUSTARD DOES NOT STOP FLOWING OUT. Even when I was at the last bite.

The duck noodle I had. Not bad, just that I was too full. And the duck had more fats than I was comfortable with. But still, not bad!

Went to walk walk and then.... we went to somerset and h&m to shop shop. I am proud to say I bought nothing even though I wanted to buy A LOT. I spent too much on online shopping already anyway. Sigh I still want the pull and bear crochet shorts...... And f21 crochet shorts too.. LOL. Not the same hor. One is denim and the other is crochet.

Really sad I didn't celebrate with my grandma though cos my aunt said it's best not to celebrate on the day itself or before cos everything is overpriced and not nice to eat. Sorry nai nai :'(
